Taekwondo

Taekwondo *
I’m a proud 3rd degree Taekwondo student and junior leader at the USTC Taekwondo Center, I lead with a passion for teaching and sharing the art of Taekwondo. I love helping and guiding students to improve their skills by leading warm-ups, breaking down techniques, and mentoring them during tests. As a dedicated member of the USTC Taekwondo demonstration team, I’ve had the honour of performing at cultural events and competing in major tournaments like the Poomsae Championship and the Kukkiwon World Taekwondo Hanmadang.
I was also a previous member and student of the NZ Howick Taekwondo Center and its demonstration team, where I first developed my love for performing and inspiring others through Taekwondo.
Ocean Institute

Ocean Institute *
I’m a passionate volunteer at the Ocean Institute, where I enjoy educating and engaging with guests about marine life and ecosystems. I dedicate weekly Saturday shifts to greeting visitors, managing the gift shop front desk, stocking items and answering guests’ questions, and interpreting marine animal exhibits in the public programs to make learning both fun and meaningful. Through this experience, I’ve gained strong communication and adaptability skills while deepening my knowledge of marine biology and maritime history.
I also supervised the Maritime Historical Barn, guiding guests through hands-on activities and sharing interesting facts about historical ships, pirate culture and equipment.

The Korean School of Fullerton in Southern California
Assisted in teaching the Korean language to Korean American students ages 4–15. Developed and applied various teaching techniques to enhance learning efficiency. Helped proctor and grade quizzes, tests, and final exams, providing constructive feedback. Supervised students during breaks to ensure positive behaviour and classroom safety. Taught and managed a large class of students every weekend (9 AM–12 PM), supporting their language growth and cultural identity development.
