The biggest inspiration in my life has always been the ocean. Growing up, I spent countless days at the beach—whether for family gatherings, vacations, or camping trips. The beach became a part of my life, a place where I felt both at peace and curious. My family and I would visit 5 times a month, and with every visit, I got lost in the sounds of crashing waves, the seagulls crying, and the flourishing life beneath the surface. Over time, that fascination grew into a passion and dedication for understanding how marine ecosystems function and how they can be protected. Those experiences are what inspired me to pursue marine biology, where I can combine my love for the ocean with a desire to make a real difference in preserving its balance for the future.
