Backstage Helper
During our school’s winter and spring concerts, my classmates and I would help out during the concerts by moving music stands and chairs and being on standby to move efficiently and quickly between sets. I learned how to operate a chamber concert as a backstage assistant, how to use time management to ensure a smooth concert, and how to run a team of individuals.
The Honeymee
During the summer of 2023, a couple of my friends and I would drive down to Cerritos Towne Center to volunteer at The Honeymee ice cream store. There, I learned how to run an ice cream store, experience running the cash register, make delicious ice cream with perfect swirls, and variety of milkshakes.
The B.O.L.O Project
The B.O.L.O Project is a non-profit organization that is on a mission to empower teens through the love of dogs. Within the 2 months that I attended, I learnt how to build confidence, character, and leadership.
While helping myself grow, I also learned how to organize a non-profit fundraising project. I planned, suggested ideas, and we collectively organized and advertised it. Overall, we raised over $2,500 for the Big Heart Ranch in Malibu Beach.
